Climate neutral company
HSO has become one of the first climate-neutral electroplating special chemistry companies, analyzed and certified by FOKUS ZUKUNFT GmbH.
Sustainability and climate protection have a high priority in the strategic direction of the company already for many years. Today a concept of climate neutrality is getting more and more important for customers and OEM’s in the plating industry! Therefore, from 2021 onwards, HSO will promote selected environmental projects that have a targeted effect on climate protection. These supports offset the emissions caused by the company, so that production is already climate-neutral today.
In order to continue on this path, investments will be made in modern technology and energy-saving process improvements in the coming years and the company’s carbon footprint will be updated regularly. Further projects are planned for 2022, e.g. wastewater-free chemical production through the use of vacuum evaporators in the wastewater treatment.
HSO is making a valuable contribution to climate protection. We want to shape climate protection and are constantly working on expanding our commitment and climate protection goals.

Quality management: DIN EN ISO 9001
We evaluate our quality management system at least once a year to ensure, that all requirements are met. We undergo regular audits to proof, that our quality management system is still up-to-date and conforms with the requirements of the DIN standard.

Food compatibility
It was found in the course of the performed tests, that certain HSO processes are suitable to come into direct contact with food or to stay in contact with food even for longer periods. These are commercially available and tradeable goods.
zdi: We are BeST-Supporters
Officially honoured for the special commitment in the field of support of young talents and securing of specialists in the region (Bergisches Städtedreieck). In the year 2014, HSO conducted together with the zdi-Zentrum BeSt / Bergisches Schultechnikum successfully a project course.
