Scientific breakthroughs are best achieved, when researchers and developers are free to go different routes and to look at problems from different perspectives. Our researchers and developers have this freedom. The search for innovative process solutions for the different surfaces and applications are in the centre at HSO. HSO has chosen the task to develop new processes especially in those fields, where a high demand exists: This includes the automotive field or the cathodic corrosion protection. From first trials up to a marketable product often takes many months and sometimes even years. Research and development together with our staff is the core of our company – on which we count.

When it comes to test, sample plating, qualifying or fault analysis of components and materials:At HSO you are at the right place!
Finding faults, perform detailed cause research, clearing the fault and avoid it in the future – this is our claim.
But regular checks of customers‘ electrolytes as well as sample treatments in the pilot plant are also part of the HSO program!
We guarantee the best (in-house) service possible:
- Analytic checks of customers‘ samples (free-of-charge)
- Sample treatments in the HSO pilot plant (12,000 litres bath volume, 120 different electrolytes)
- REM photographs
- EDX analyses
- Impingent and transmitted light microscopy
- Cross-section analysis
- Thermal shock tests
- Heat dislocation
- Chemicals, fuel, sweat and detergent resistances
- Thermal cycling tests, condensation water constant climate and salt spray tests
- Cycle tests (DIN 50021SS, PV 1200, PV 1210, PV 2005, ISO 9227 etc.)
- Elementary analyses by HPLC, GC-MS, CVS, IR
